Zalando has a strong commitment to follow applicable laws, ethical standards, and our internal regulations. We specified our shared values and standards in our Code of Ethics. To prevent violations and to react to them in an adequate manner, we offer different channels for both employees and externals to report possible violations.
To report violations, Zalando offers several channels. You can contact either our Compliance & Business Ethics Team personally, via zsolve or via email@example.com. Alternatively you can use this tool here, which is hosted by a third party and is available 24/7, 365 days per year. It gives you the possibility to remain anonymous in case you do not want to submit your contact data before sending the report. In order to be handled in accordance with the Zalando Investigation Management Process, all reports are forwarded to the Compliance & Business Ethics Team, which has a groupwide responsibility for Compliance at Zalando. However, if you prefer to report your concern to your local point of trust, you are free to use also local channels.
By using the tool’s postbox-feature, you will be provided with a unique access number and can create your own password. Via this postbox we can still communicate with you, which can be helpful for exchanging further evidence, clarifying open questions, and providing you with updates to your report.
Independent of which option you prefer, Zalando treats every report confidentially (see Whistleblowing) and will not accept any discrimination of or retaliation against individuals who raise compliance concerns in good faith.
